Zewar E Taleem Program Registration:

The government has launched a new program called the “Zewar-e-Taleem Program.” While this program has existed before, new registrations have now been opened for eligible girls studying in government schools from grades 6 to 10. Previously, the Benazir Scholarship Program was available for children in private schools as well, but the Zewar-e-Taleem Program is exclusively for girls enrolled in government schools from grades 6 to 10.

How to Register for the Zewar-e-Taleem Program:

The government has started the registration process for the Zewar-e-Taleem Program. All girls studying in government schools from grades 6 to 10 are eligible to apply. Parents of eligible students are encouraged to verify their child’s national identity card number and mobile number at their respective school as soon as possible. After verification, they should activate the Zewar-e-Taleem account through UBL, Omni, or Bank Alfalah.

Update for Women in the Verification Process:

All women who have been pending verification for a long time and have lower PMT (Poverty Means Test) scores will receive their installments in January 2025, not earlier. The government has issued an important reminder that all women with expired national ID cards must renew them by November 15, 2024, or their installments will not be released. Previously, installments were sometimes issued despite expired cards, but this will no longer be the case.
