Eligibility Criteria:

Residency: The applicant must be a resident of Punjab.

National Identity Card: A valid Punjab-issued CNIC is required. If expired, it must be renewed before applying.

SIM Ownership: The phone number (SIM) used to apply must be registered in the applicant’s name. If not, registration may be rejected.

Livestock Ownership: Applicants must already own between 5 to 10 male animals, as this is a mandatory requirement.

Debt-Free: Applicants should not have any existing bank loans or be loan defaulters.

Livestock Verification: An assessment by the Urban Unit will confirm the number of animals owned, as each animal qualifies for a set amount of PKR 27,000. The total loan amount will depend on the number of eligible animals owned.

First-Come, First-Serve Basis: Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Loan Disbursement and Use:

Funds Disbursement: Instead of cash, beneficiaries will receive livestock supplies (mineral mixtures, silage, etc.) through registered dealers in each tehsil, similar to the supplies provided via the Kisan Card.

Beneficiary Reach: Between 40,000 to 80,000 livestock owners are expected to benefit from this scheme.

Loan Details: Interest-free loans will be provided in equal installments over four months. Each animal is eligible for PKR 27,000, with a total loan amount ranging from PKR 135,000 to PKR 270,000. After the four-month period, repayment is mandatory within one month.
