The government has decided to revamp the payment distribution system of the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) to better assist impoverished families. This update introduces ATM cards for beneficiaries, enabling them to withdraw payments from any city conveniently.

New Data Update Requirement for 2025 Payments:
The government has mandated updating personal data in the 8171 system to ensure eligibility for payments in 2025.
Important Notices:
Beneficiaries who fail to update their data will not be included in the program.
Those who update their data will receive continuous support and be included in additional programs such as:
- Ramadan Programs
- Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Fitr Support
- Free Ration and Clothing Schemes
Bank Accounts for Payment Collection:
To address issues like deductions and delays at retailer shops, the government will open bank accounts for all BISP beneficiaries nationwide.
Implementation Details:
- Leading banks, including Bank Alfalah, Bank of Punjab, and National Bank, will manage payments in designated districts.
- Accounts will also be opened in JazzCash and Easypaisa banks.
- Beneficiaries will soon receive SMS notifications from 8171 to guide them on account opening procedures.

A PKR 3,000–5,000 bonus will be provided to children who pass their exams and progress to the next grade.
