Breaking News: Know Livestock Distribution Program Eligibility Criteria

Livestock Distribution Program:

The Punjab government has initiated the Livestock Distribution Program  across the province. Under this program, the government will provide cows or buffaloes valued up to 100,000 rupees to 11,000 poor and deserving individuals, entirely free of charge. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif launched this program to support impoverished, divorced, and widowed women in South Punjab. Healthy cows or buffaloes will be distributed without any cost to the beneficiaries.

The last date to apply for this program is November 10, 2024, and applications can be submitted from home.

Eligibility Criteria:

Four types of women can apply for this program:

Divorced or Widowed Women: All women who are divorced or widowed are eligible to apply. The maximum age limit is 55 years.

Poverty Score: The applicant’s PMT (Poverty Means Test) score must be 32 or below.

Certification: Applicants must have a valid divorce or widow certificate issued by the Punjab Social Protection Authority.

Previous Scheme Participation: Applicants should not have received livestock under any other scheme in the past five years.

If you meet these four conditions, you are eligible to apply for this scheme.

Program Funding and Coverage:

This program has been allocated a substantial budget of 2 billion rupees and is currently available in the following 12 districts of Punjab:

  • Dera Ghazi Khan
  • Muzaffargarh
  • Rajanpur
  • Layyah
  • Kot Addu
  • Bahawalpur
  • Bahawalnagar
  • Rahim Yar Khan
  • Multan
  • Khanewal
  • Vehari
  • Lodhran

How to Apply

There are two simple ways to apply:

Online Application: Download the official application from the Google Play Store. Once installed, create an account on the app, and you can submit your application from home.

In-Person Application: Visit the Chief Minister’s Facilitation Desk at your nearest Veterinary Dispensary. Facilitation desks are available at veterinary dispensaries across all districts of Punjab. You can register in person at these desks.

Remember, the last date to apply is November 10. Submit your application before this deadline, either online from home or at a nearby facilitation desk.
