New Update for Janch Partal Woman | 8171 Portal Update

Janch Partal Woman:

For all those who have been waiting for months, uncertain about their eligibility status, relief is on the way. The government has announced that by mid-December, all pending verifications will be completed. Furthermore, those deemed eligible will have new installments issued to them. Remember, only individuals with a payment score below 32 are considered eligible. This doesn’t mean that everyone under verification will qualify; only genuinely deserving individuals will become eligible. Those who are approved in this phase will receive an initial installment of PKR 13,500, as the current installment cycle is for PKR 10,500, scheduled until December.

The October to December installment cycle has been divided into four phases. Two phases have already started, and the remaining two will launch next month. By December 31, all beneficiaries must withdraw their payments from their accounts. After that, a new payment model will be introduced, enabling recipients to access funds via EasyPaisa, JazzCash, ATMs, and Union Councils.

Appeals Process for Ineligible Beneficiarie:

For those who have been deemed ineligible, there is also good news. The government is introducing an appeals system that will allow ineligible individuals to contest their status. If found deserving, they can rejoin the program. This appeals system is set to be implemented by January 2025

Removal of Three Categories of Beneficiaries:

The government has ordered the immediate disqualification of three types of beneficiaries:

Women Disqualified Due to Increased PMT Scores:

Payments have been stopped for those whose PMT (Poverty Means Testing) score has increased, and beneficiaries who undergo the survey and show a higher PMT score will be disqualified and their payments stopped.

Women or Their Husbands Who Are Government Employees Earning Above PKR 70,000:

Women who are themselves government employees or whose husbands are government employees with a salary exceeding PKR 70,000 will be disqualified from the program.
