BISP Phase 2 New Double Installment:
The Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) has begun disbursing payments, with some beneficiaries receiving double installments of PKR 10,500 for the periods July–September and October–December. Here’s a summary of the updates:
Payment Details:
Many beneficiaries already have two installments in their accounts.
Those who haven’t withdrawn their payments yet can visit the designated payment sites to collect their installments.
Beneficiaries under Phase 2 (54 districts) can easily receive payments from the payment camps.
Educational stipends for children will be distributed in January.
Phase 2 and Ongoing Payments:
- Phase 2 of the program has started, with many beneficiaries receiving PKR 10,500 after completing the screening process.
- Payments are processed after beneficiaries receive their tokens. Some receive payments the same day, while others might have to wait until the next day.
- The payment process timings have been changed from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM.
Improved Payment Distribution Process:
Identification cards are now collected from beneficiaries in groups of 20 or 50, and payments are distributed one by one.
This organized method replaces the earlier process where individuals would directly present their ID cards for payment.
Portal Issues:
On the 8171 portal some beneficiaries see payments of PKR 10,500 reflected, but the funds are not yet available at payment sites.
This issue often arises because these amounts belong to Phase 3 beneficiaries whose payments are still being processed.
Key Clarifications:
Old payments showing on the portal might confuse beneficiaries, leading them to think they’ve received new payments.
If you’re part of Phase 3, your payment process will begin soon.
Dynamic Registry Updates:
Many individuals on the 8171 portal are informed that their dynamic registry entries have been updated, and they will soon be notified about their eligibility.
Eligible beneficiaries will start receiving payments by the end of December, with some installments available in January.
Payment Increase:
The upcoming installment will not be PKR 10,500 but will be increased to PKR 13,500.

Account Setup:
Beneficiaries are encouraged to open ATM accounts to receive payments directly.
Those without accounts can still collect payments from the payment camps, which will remain operational.
