The Punjab Government has launched the Wheat Cultivation Program for farmers across the province. Both men and women in Pakistan who wish to receive tractors or laser land levelers from the government now have a golden opportunity. Here’s a complete guide to the program:
Special Package for Farmers by CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif:
Under this initiative, billions of rupees are allocated to support farmers cultivating larger areas of wheat. The program offers two major benefits:
Laser Land Levelers:
Farmers cultivating 12.5 to 25 acres of wheat are eligible.
1,000 laser land levelers will be distributed through a lottery system.
Tractors:
Farmers cultivating 25 acres or more of wheat can participate in a draw for 1,000 tractors provided by the Punjab Government.
Only those with over 25 acres of wheat cultivation qualify for the tractor lottery.
Registration Process:
Online Registration:
Starting from 25th November, eligible individuals can submit their applications online.
Offline Registration:
If your land records are non-computerized, visit the Assistant Agriculture Officer or the Agriculture Extension Office in your district to fill out and submit the application form.
If your land records are computerized, you can directly apply online starting 25th November.
