Benazir Income Support Programme Payments:
All payments under the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), including children’s scholarships and the Kafalat Program, will now be available through bank ATMs. These payments will not be limited to just one or two banks but will be accessible via the ATMs of six newly added banks. This new system will allow beneficiaries to easily withdraw or check their payments without any deductions or long waits.
All you need for this process is your CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card) and biometric verification, which can be done directly at the ATM. This new payment method is expected to be operational starting with the first installments of the new year, 2025. For now, the current installments are being distributed through camp sites.
Current Kafalat Program Payments:
The ongoing Kafalat Program payments are divided into four phases:
Two phases have already been completed.
The remaining two phases will be completed by mid-December.
You can check your payment status using the 8171 Web Portal. Through this portal, you can confirm your eligibility and payment details.
Children’s Scholarships Payments:
Beneficiaries of the Kafalat Program receiving payments for October to December 2024 will also receive their children’s scholarships by December 15, 2024.
If you check your payments at camp sites and they are credited to your account, you will be able to withdraw them during December.
Otherwise, the payments for children’s scholarships will be given as double installments in January 2025.
Appeal System for Ineligible Individuals:
For individuals declared ineligible, the appeal system is available. You can use this system to reapply and potentially become part of the program again.
For those under review, the verification process is expected to be completed by the next month, and their payments will be disbursed in January 2025.
Dynamic Survey Requirement:
All individuals who have not yet completed the Dynamic Survey are urged to do so immediately. Failing to complete this survey will result in disqualification from the program. If disqualified, you will not be eligible for re-enrollment for the next three years.
Ensure your information is up-to-date to continue receiving benefits.
