This scheme will be managed by the newly established Islamic Takaful Insurance Company, aligning with Islamic principles.
Establishment of Islamic Takaful Insurance Company
The government plans to establish an Islamic Takaful Insurance Company to oversee both the life insurance and health card schemes. This institution will ensure interest-free and ethical financial services to the province’s citizens.
Solarization Program for Low-Income Households and Government Buildings
To promote renewable energy, KP will provide 65,000 free solar units to low-income households in the first phase. An additional 65,000 households will receive solar units on easy installments in the second phase. Moreover, all government buildings will transition to solar power to reduce energy costs.

Construction of Peshawar-DI Khan Motorway as a Trade Corridor
The Peshawar-Dera Ismail Khan Motorway, a 365-kilometer project, will connect KP with Punjab and Balochistan. This trade corridor aims to enhance commercial activity with Afghanistan and Central Asia. A trade hub at Torkham and a freight railway from Peshawar to Torkham are also planned.
120 km Long Transmission Line to Support Local Industries
A 120-kilometer 220 kV transmission line from Swat to Chakdara will deliver affordable electricity to local industries. This project, leveraging hydropower resources, is projected to generate PKR 54 billion annually for the provincial government.
Launch of Homestay Tourism Scheme for Remote Areas
To promote tourism, the government will launch a homestay program, offering loans to residents in remote areas. Locals will convert their homes into accommodations for tourists, boosting local economies while offering visitors unique cultural experiences.

Establishment of Debt Management Fund for Financial Stability
