8171 Web Portal:
We have a major update to share regarding the 8171 web portal, which has been fully updated. Previously, the portal provided information on dynamic registration and updates related to utility stores. Now, a new feature has been added, allowing users to check eligibility for the Kafalat Program, payment details, children’s stipend payment status, dynamic registration status, and utility store subsidies. Those under review or marked ineligible can now view their status directly on the 8171 portal. To confirm, this is a valid update. Many people had questions about whether these statuses were correctly displayed.
For the Benazir Income Support Program, eligibility, ineligibility, and other statuses are confirmed based on data up until November 5th. This means that each month’s updates will be available on the 8171 web portal, and confirmed statuses will appear with each new monthly update. The current status is updated until November 5, so if any changes occur after this date, we cannot confirm them here. All users can consider this data 100% accurate as of now.
How to Check Your 8171 Status Using Your CNIC:
The portal functions the same way as before. You can search for the 8171 web portal on Google, and it will appear as the top link. Open the portal, enter your National ID card number, fill in the CAPTCHA, and check your eligibility status. No major changes have been made that would make the portal difficult to use, so you can start using it today to access a variety of information.

Kafalat Program Installments (October to December):
As many of you know, the Kafalat Program installments from October to December were scheduled to be issued in four phases. The first and second phases have already begun, with the first phase starting some time ago and the second phase launching earlier this week. Payments have begun in over 50 districts across the country. However, children’s stipends are not included in these installments.
Upcoming Update on Children’s Stipends:
We have a significant update to share about children’s stipends. Beginning after December 15, double installments for children’s stipends will start appearing in beneficiaries’ accounts. However, to receive these installments, you will need to wait for a new payment model from the government. If a new payment model is implemented, both the double stipend installments and the increased Kafalat Program installment (with an additional 3,000 PKR) will be issued by January 2025.
