8171 Web Portal:
Many people are experiencing difficulties with the 8171 portal as they attempt to check the status of their payments. Initially, the portal was updated for five days, allowing beneficiaries to see if they were eligible for the PKR 10,500 installment of the Kafalat Program. It also informed those eligible to visit their nearest payment centers to collect their installment if they hadn’t done so already. This ensured smooth processing for beneficiaries during the first phase of the installment distribution.
Beneficiaries Awaiting Payments in Updated Regions:
For regions where payments have not yet started, beneficiaries are still waiting to receive their installment. Those who were informed on the portal that they were eligible for the PKR 10,500 installment have mostly collected their payments, as this eligibility was confirmed. Some people have already received payments for the July to September period, while those eligible for the new installment will soon receive their payments as distribution continues.
However, some individuals are encountering messages on the 8171 portal indicating that their survey registration has been completed, but it’s unclear if they are eligible for payment collection. As the five-day update period ended, the portal was updated once again, and now certain people are seeing messages about survey registration instead of eligibility status.
November Installment Information and Future Payments:
For those who previously saw confirmation of the PKR 10,500 installment, the good news is that they will also receive the November installment. Eligible beneficiaries should not face further difficulties in this regard. However, individuals who only see a survey registration message may need to wait until January 2025 to receive their payment. In December, an eligibility list will be released, and those found eligible will be included, while individuals found ineligible will be notified as well.
